Wavekarting® Xplore is always fun but for a group we can make it even more exciting! Singles activity, team-building, with colleagues, family excursion, B2B and much more... anything is possible!

Wavekarting® GPS is the perfect group activity: in a nautical raid lasting 3 hours, the participants communicate with each other and the teams compete against each other in an unrivalled and unique setting.

The mission is for every team to find at sea as many waypoints as possible – points indicated on the chart – using GPS. During this activity you must make decisions on organisation, strategy, technique and other matters.

A team consists of a Wavekart manned by 2 (or 3) persons: a pilot and a navigator/safety officer. You can put together your own teams. One team member will receive a full safety and technical briefing and learn how to control a Wavekart, while another team member will be fully briefed about GPS and marine charts and about navigation, currents, waves, wind, sandbanks and similar matters.

After the briefing the teams will sail out on their own. For safety reasons our supervisors will sail around in the mission area. The teams have 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete the mission. The team with the best strategy will win. This will be followed by presentation of the prizes ... complete with champagne.

The format depends on the swell at sea. This activity is possible only when there is little wind (from 3 to 4 on the Beaufort scale). If the race cannot take place, there will still be 1 hour and 20 minutes of sailing and the champagne will still be served at the end.

Wavekarting® GPS lasts 3 hours (10 minutes for changing, 1 hour and 10 minutes for the briefing, 1 hour and 20 minutes at sea and 20 minutes for champagne)
